Polish visual artist Przemysław Blejzyk - known professionally as Sainer - is launching his first solo exhibition in the Austrian capital on Wednesday.

Titled Kolorganismus, the show opens at the Künstlerhaus gallery and features large-scale generative digital works alongside paintings. It forms part of the official cultural programme marking Poland’s presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Blejzyk, born in the central Polish city of Łódź and now based in Gdynia on the Baltic coast, is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. His work spans murals, traditional painting and digital art, often drawing inspiration from natural systems and landscapes.

In his own words, Sainer creates “multi-element compositions seeking new ways of representing reality in visual arts.”
