Polish Radio 1, the broadcaster's flagship station, on Tuesday released the 10‑minute piece Sto lat Polskiego Radia (100 Years of Polish Radio) on YouTube, embedding the video recording made at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio in Warsaw.

Rostkowski mixed electronics and samples with live playing by the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw and rare folk instruments reconstructed by ethnomusicologist Maria Pomianowska, “giving short jingles a rich, contemporary tone that still echoes our roots,” he said.

Orchestra director Kajetan Prochyra called the collaboration “a symbolic reminder that 80 of the broadcaster’s 100 years are also our history – not an algorithm, but real musicians.”

Polish Radio 1 introduced jingles drawn from the suite earlier this month. The station's head, Paulina Stolarek‑Marat, said sharing the complete work lets listeners “sense the project’s uniqueness and the joy we hope it brings.”

The audio version is already available on Spotify and YouTube. The video bolsters Polish Radio 1's YouTube channel, which boasts 218,000 subscribers and 167 million views, according to social media chief Klarysa Marczak.
