As part of this nationwide celebration of literature, creativity, and community, over 1,500 libraries across Poland - from historic Lublin in the east to the cultural hub of Poznań in the west - will transform their spaces into centers of discovery, learning, and fun.

The evening offers a wide range of activities for all ages, including author talks, hands-on workshops, interactive games, exhibitions, and live performances.

In Warsaw, the highlight is the grand opening of Metroteka, a new library at Kondratowicz metro station, featuring a live concert by Wojciech Waglewski and Mateusz Pospieszalski, broadcast to libraries nationwide.

Elsewhere, Lublin invites visitors to join art workshops inspired by painter Olga Boznańska, while Kraków offers calligraphy sessions, mini poetry concerts, and interactive exhibitions.

Wrocław hosts escape rooms, moonlit park walks, and book-folding workshops, while in Łódź, guests can explore a “Lost Bookbinder” mystery game or create their own personalized notebooks.

Even residents of smaller towns, such as Zgierz and Piotrków Trybunalski, can take part in creative workshops, nighttime games, and author meet-and-greets.

For those who cannot attend in person, the celebration extends online with digital puzzles, crosswords, and printable activities, ensuring everyone can join the literary fun from home. All materials are available for free at nocbibliotek2025.ceo.org.pl.
