A little more than two weeks after her participation in the Metropolitan Opera's livestreamed #AtHomeGala, great Polish soprano Aleksandra Kurzak performs live for Polish audiences on social media this Sunday evening at the special invitation of Warsaw's Studio Theatre Gallery.

This is the second time that the artist has accepted an invitation from the theatre. Last summer she made her debut as Cho Cho San in Giacomo Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" staged in mid-town Warsaw under the Palace of Culture, where Studio has its home. The open-air performance, directed by Natalia Korczakowska, gathered more than 200 musicians and an audience of 2000 in Plac Defilad square.

This Sunday evening at 7 pm, Aleksandra Kurzak, accompanied by French pianist Morgane Fauchois-Prado sings on the theatre's virtual stage. The bill of the concert includes pieces by Schumann, Puccini, Rossini, Dvořák, Cilea and Chopin.

The recital is part of the series of free events under the umbrella of #wspieramkulturę (support culture) in the time of the coronavirus pandemic.
