The festival, which runs until Sunday, will feature over 30 events spanning music, art, and film.

Showcasing the rich tapestry of Podlasie's multicultural history, the festival pays homage to the generations of Poles, Russians, Belarusians, Tatars, Ukrainians, Lithuanians, Jews, and Germans who have coexisted in Białystok.

Photography enthusiasts can look forward to exhibitions featuring the works of the late Białystok photographer, Marek Dolecki, a captivating photo essay on Ukraine by Justyna Milinkiewicz, and a thought-provoking "Engaged Photography" showcase by Lewis Hine.

New to this year's roster are music production workshops for the youth, helmed by the talented Podlasie singer and music producer, Joanna Zubrycka, also known as Miss God.

Music headliners include Polish sensation Natalia Szroeder and folk music maestros Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa, complemented by performances from Babadag, Oxford Drama, and the ARS LATRANS Orchestra.

Initiated in 2013, the Other Dimension Festival is part of a broader cultural initiative - the East of Culture project - a partnership connecting Białystok, Lublin, and Rzeszów with the Eastern Partnership countries. Organized by the National Cultural Center and backed by local governments and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the festival seeks to foster creative dialogue and celebrate the uniqueness of each participating culture.

Admission to all events is free of charge.
