Average life satisfaction across the EU rated 7.1 on a scale from 0 (very dissatisfied) to 10 (very satisfied).
Life satisfaction may be influenced by many factors such as age, level of education, family and financial situation, as well as the diversity of experiences, choices, priorities and values of an individual.
Described by Eurostat on its website as “subjective”, the life satisfaction indicator is collected as a part of the EU’s statistics on income and living conditions.
