Organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP), a major Polish non-profit known for its nationwide fundraising and medical support efforts, the annual summer event celebrates music, activism, and community spirit.
It was created by Jurek Owsiak, founder of WOŚP and a well-known media personality and social activist in Poland, as a gesture of appreciation to volunteers and supporters of the charity’s winter fundraising finale.
“The festival grounds bid farewell under a curtain of rain - we don’t blame them, and we’re sad to see it end,” the organisers wrote on Sunday 3 August in a farewell message posted on social media. “But the sadness won’t last long - time moves quickly, and we’ll meet again soon.”
