New date for Polish Day at Dubai Expo

December 7 has been set as the new date for Polish Day at this year’s Expo world exhibition in Dubai, officials have announced.

Polish Day will mark the culmination of the country’s presence at the world’s largest economic and promotional event, according to the expo.gov.pl website.

The new date for Polish Day will coincide with the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Polish embassy in the United Arab Emirates, and the celebration will be accompanied by a meeting of officials from the two countries as well as a range of business and cultural events.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dubai exhibition, called Expo 2020, has been postponed by a year and will take place from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
