The exhibition, entitled 1000-Year History of Polish Jews, is a journey through 1,000 years in the history of Polish Jews from the Middle Ages to the present day, the museum has said.

It added that the display provides answers to questions about how the first Jews arrived Poland, how Poland became home to the world’s largest Jewish community, and “how Jewish life is being revived today.”

The museum says it aims to address “topics of cooperation, rivalry and conflicts” as well as “autonomy, integration and assimilation,” while also seeking to “confront thorny issues” in shared history.
