Following a decision by the Polish Olympic Committee, all athletes competing in individual sports can hope for PLN 120,000 (some EUR 26,400, USD 30,300) for a gold medal, PLN 80,000 for silver, and PLN 50,000 for bronze.
Athletes in team sports are eligible for PLN 90,000, PLN 60,000 and PLN 37,500 respectively, and coaches can count on PLN 60,000, PLN 40,000 and PLN 25,000 respectively.
The rewards are "the same as for all the previous Olympics since 2012," both winter and summer, the Polish Olympic Committee said in a statement, as quoted by state news agency PAP.
Fifty-seven Polish athletes, 27 men and 30 women, have been selected to compete in the Beijing Olympics.

Four years ago, Poland was represented by 62 athletes at the Pyeongchang Games.
The Polish Olympic team for Beijing also includes a contingent of more than 70 coaches, doctors, ski waxing technicians, physiotherapists and other personnel, according to the Polish Olympic Committee.
The Beijing Games officially opened on Friday and run until February 20.
Poland won two medals at the previous winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, finishing 20th in the medals table.
Team Poland won six medals, four gold, one silver and one bronze, during the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, the best Olympic Winter Games tally for Poland ever.
