After the events of winter 2013-2014 she became known as "the voice of Euromaidan" as she was very involved in the announcement of Ukrainian independence. And, after the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, she became active in supporting Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines, raising money and awareness, and bringing supplies to the soldiers.
