The conference will focus on four paradigm shifts, including fast-tracking the energy transition and slashing emissions before 2030; transforming climate finance; putting nature, people, lives, and livelihoods at the heart of climate action; and mobilizing for the most inclusive COP ever, according to the organizers.

"This year, one of the most important priorities is climate education—to implement climate education everywhere and at all levels of education," says Kamil Wyszkowski, director of the UN Global Compact Network Poland, who will be among the participants in the Dubai conference.

"The second priority is green finance, i.e. moving capital from dirty technologies based on coal, oil or gas, to green technologies, which are deeply needed for a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions," Wyszkowski told Radio Poland's Danuta Isler.
