Learning Polish as a foreign language can be fun

Polish is often regarded as one of the world's most difficult tongues, and few people undertake the Herculean task of learning it as a foreign language. Challenging the stereotype, the Polonicum Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners , a research and didactics centre,  at the University of Warsaw has for years been conducting classes in Polish for foreigners.

The Polonicum Centre works with institutions around the world on projects promoting the Polish language and culture abroad.

One of them is “Taking Polish around the world,” a recent multimedia initiative by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

In the programme  Ph.D Justyna Zych, deputy director of Polonicum Center, talks about its activities and mission.
