"We are grateful to our colleagues - Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki and Secretary of State for Digital Affairs of Poland Janusz Cieszyński - for their strong support. As well as the National Institute of Telecommunications and the Orlen company," the official said in a statement.

The latest batch of Starlink devices will be handed over to energy sector workers and doctors, the Ukrainian official said.

According to Fedorov, 30,000 Starlink terminals are currently in operation in Ukraine, with efforts underway to acquire and deploy more devices.

The Starlink system has become part of Ukraine's critical infrastructure, enabling residents to communicate with each other in places where the regular network does not work during power outages, the Ukrainian digital transformation ministry said.

Starlink is a satellite-based telecommunications system developed by SpaceX, an American company owned by billionaire Elon Musk.
