Wrapping up his visit to the US Congress, Zelensky expressed gratitude to both major political parties and felt a sense of trust, emphasizing the importance of transparency in Ukraine's relations with the U.S. He also mentioned discussions about "strengthening state institutions".
In a bid to reduce its reliance on Western military assistance, Ukraine has shifted its focus towards reforms within its defense industry, geared towards modernizing local production and augmenting supplies.
Kyiv has already engaged in partnerships with Central European manufacturers to refurbish and upgrade its military equipment, as well as advancing efforts in drone and missile development.
