The Ukrainian president disclosed that the meeting had focused on potential investment prospects in Ukraine, the Reuters agency reported.

Zelenskiy said the business leaders, including Michael Bloomberg, Larry Fink, and Bill Ackman, expressed readiness to make substantial investments in Ukraine's post-war reconstruction efforts following the conflict with Russia.

"The American entrepreneurs and financiers confirmed their readiness to make large-scale investments in our country immediately after the end of the war and the receipt of security guarantees," the Ukrainian president posted on Telegram, adding: "We are working for the victory and reconstruction of Ukraine."

During his visit to the US and Canada this week, Zelenskiy aimed to secure ongoing military and financial backing for Kyiv's defence against Russia's 19-month-long invasion.
