Polish, Czech FMs discuss ammunition for Ukraine

The Polish foreign ministry said in a statement that the two discussed "the Czech ammunition initiative, support for Ukraine and its accession to the European Union, as well as sanctions against Russia."

According to the Polish foreign ministry, Sikorski expressed gratitude to the Czech Republic "for the ammunition initiative."

He said: "It's proof that creativity can influence the fate of all Europe."

Sikorski declared: "Poland also confirms its financial and logistical commitment to delivering this ammunition where it is needed."

Sikorski's talks with Lipavský "confirmed that the two countries speak with one voice on a number of important issues," according to the Polish foreign ministry.

Lipavský in an X post hailed a "precious partnership" between the two countries.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, starting the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II.

Wednesday is day 756 of Russias war on Ukraine.
