Sikorski said the funds, drawn from the Foreign Ministry budget, would be transferred before the end of the year to support Ukraine’s defence needs.
As reported by Beata Płomecka, Brussels correspondent for Polskie Radio, PURL – Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List – is a programme through which NATO allies purchase US arms and ammunition according to priorities set by Kyiv.
Over half of NATO members signed up for the initiative during last month’s defence ministers’ meeting in Brussels.
Poland had initially opted out but decided to join after further consideration.

On Thursday, he will join other EU foreign ministers in discussions with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrij Sybiha to review the situation on the front lines.
EU ministers are also expected to address Belarusian hybrid attacks on member states, including Lithuania.
Sikorski has said he will brief ministers on recent sabotage incidents targeting the Polish railway network.
