A few months needed for Ukraine to move onto the offensive in Donbas

The Ukrainian head of the Luhansk Oblast, Serhij Hajdaj, has told Politico that Ukraine needs a few months to move from the defensive to the offensive in Donbas.

Serhij Hajdaj, the head of Luhansk Oblast, has tol the portal Politico, that UKraine requires a matter of months to shift from the defensive to the offensive in the Donbas region.

According to the interview, the current advances of the Russian Army are due to its mass attack and superior firepower.

Hajdaj said in the interview that Ukraine needs at least a few months to be able to train the Ukrainian army in the use of western arms. Once that stage is completed, they will be able to move to the offensive.
