Copper mine accident kills one in Poland

A 51-year-old miner died in an accident at the Rudna copper mine in southwestern Poland on Wednesday.

The man was the father of three children. He began working at the mine in 2004.

The state-run copper company KGHM, which operates the mine, has declared a three-day period of mourning.

Dzisiaj, w ZG Rudna, doszło do śmiertelnego wypadku. Podczas robót strzałowych zginął 51-letni Górnik. We wszystkich oddziałach spółki wprowadzono trzydniową żałobę.
