Thousands have rushed to take advantage of the summer sunshine, heading to their favourite destinations amid a prolonged spell of hot weather and relaxed COVID-19 restrictions.
But in a recent poll, only 11 percent of those planning a summer trip away from home said they intended to vacation abroad.
