Friday was supposed to see the performances of world-famous Meghan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa in the northern Polish port city of Gdynia.

But both concerts were cancelled. After 7 p.m. the music stopped and all fans were instructed to leave the venue immediately.

This was the first time Open’er had to suspend due to weather conditions, PAP wrote.

Poland’s northern region of the Pomorskie province was subject to extreme weather situation, with hailstorm and heatwave alerts. Only yesterday firefighters were called in over 700 times.

The festival resumed yesterday at 10:30 p.m. Today is the last day of the event, with The Killers and Poland’s Dawid Podsiadło in the line-up.
