In 2022, average monthly disposable income in Poland was PLN 2,355, while in 2021 it stood at PLN 2,103, according to the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency.
Statistics Poland defines disposable income as total personal income minus taxes, social security and public health insurance contributions.
The office reported earlier this month that average wages in Poland's corporate sector increased by 9.3 percent in April compared with the same month last year.
The average gross Polish monthly wage last month was PLN 9,045.11 (EUR 2,135, USD 2,415), according to the statistical office.
The average wage in Poland rose 9.5 percent last year compared with 2023, according to data released by Statistics Poland in February.
Meanwhile, the country's minimum monthly wage increased to PLN 4,666 (EUR 1,110, USD 1,200) in January, from PLN 4,300 in the second half of 2024.
