Will Biden keep close alliance with Poland if elected?

With the world waiting anxiously for all the votes to be counted in the US presidential elections, Polish government officials have expressed hope that, if elected, Democrat Joe Biden will maintain a close alliance with Poland.

Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Paweł Jablonski has said Biden knows this would be in America’s interest.

A similar sentiment was expressed by Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau.

Meanwhile, the Polish president’s chief of staff, Krzysztof Szczerski, told the media: “We have managed to build solid foundations for Polish-American cooperation that are not based only on personal relations with President Trump.”
