BALANCE : Poland outperforms EU economies

Polish economy will grow 4.6 percent in 2019, and 3.7 percent in 2020 - analysts of Poland's largest bank PKO BP wrote in their latest report.

According to the PKO BP experts, the growth will be based on domestic demand: both investment and private consumption, while external threats include  escalation of trade tensions between the US and China, as well as the probability of hard Brexit. Internal risks include parliamentary elections this fall and their impact on public spending.

Danuta Isler spoke to Marta Petka-Zagajewska, the head of macroeconomic research at PKO BP, to find out more.
