In terms of the number of experts working on the development and implementation of artificial intelligence systems, the country ranks first in the CEE region and seventh in the EU. The report "The State of Polish AI 2021" also found that many Polish AI companies are seeking to expand to other EU markets as well as Britain and North America, and that AI is most often embraced by companies active in sectors such as IT and telecommunications, finance and banking, and e-commerce. BALANCE talks to Łukasz Borowiecki, a co-author of the report and an AI expert at Digital Poland Foundation to find out more.
