The Polish service pracuj.pl - connecting job-seekers and recruiting companies - has released a report confirming the dynamism of the Polish employment market.
The service noted a 35% rise in the number of job offers for the first half of the year, comparing 2021 and 2022.
The most popular announcements were for IT specialists (24%), taking over the no. 1 spot from sales positions (24%).
Third and fourth most popular jobs were in customer service (13%) and manual work (also 13%).
Pracuj.pl also published a ranking of the sectors of the companies seeking new staff. Finance and banking led the way, accounting for 11% of the announcements with IT in second place with 10%.
The regions of Poland most active in recruitment are Mazowsze (20% of the positions announced), Lower Silesia (10%) and Silesia, Lesser Poland and Greater Poland - all with 9%.
