Polish astronomers create 3D map of Milky Way

Polish scientists from the University of Warsaw’s Astronomical Observatory have created the most precise map to date of our galaxy, the Milky Way.

Their research has just been published in the prestigious Science magazine, which says the project “helps us see the galaxy in a whole new way”.
