Tennis: Poland’s Świątek at WTA No. 66, Linette 71st, Kawa 128th

Rising Polish star Iga Świątek has moved down five notches to No. 66 in the latest rankings by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).

Meanwhile, Poland’s Magda Linette has slipped to 71st place in the new WTA rankings, which were released on Monday.

Katarzyna Kawa was the third-highest ranked Polish female tennis player, at No. 128, up from 194^th.

The 26-year-old Kawa on Sunday lost to Latvian Anastasija Sevastova, 6-3, 5-7, 4-6, in the final of the Baltic Open tournament in Jurmala, Latvia.
