Silver for Poland's Skinder at Junior World Ski Championships in Norway

Poland’s Monika Skinder has won the silver in the women’s cross-country skiing sprint freestyle at the Junior and Under-23 World Ski Championships in Lygna, Norway.

Sweden’s Moa Hansson took the gold, while Nataliya Mekryukova of Russia took the bronze on Saturday.

Skinder, 20, is an up-and-coming cross-country skier from the eastern Polish town of Tomaszów Lubelski.

Last year, she won the women’s cross-country skiing sprint classic at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Vuokatti, Finland.
