In an interview with Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo on Wednesday, Lewandowski emphasized his dedication to the club and his ambition to win more titles.
In the interview, conducted in Spanish, Lewandowski, originally from Leszno near Warsaw, said that "continuing to play for Barça is as obvious as possible for me."
"I want to win many titles with FC Barcelona. I believe we can play stronger in the coming season, winning trophies."
With 18 goals, Lewandowski is currently the top scorer for the Catalan team this season.
Lewandowski highlighted his commitment to the club and his teammates, stressing that he aims to perform at his best for the benefit of both.
"I believe that we can triumph next season. From the bottom of my heart, I want to give as much as possible to our team and the club," he added, noting his continued good physical and mental condition.
Looking ahead to the 2024-25 season, Lewandowski expressed optimism about the team's potential, particularly due to the rising young talents. He specifically mentioned Spanish striker Lamine Yamal as a key player for the future. "I hope that the experience gained by these young players will pay off in the upcoming games," Lewandowski said.
The interview comes amid recent speculation about Lewandowski's future at FC Barcelona, dispelling rumors that he might leave the club. At 35 years old, Lewandowski joined FC Barcelona in July 2022 from Bayern Munich, signing a four-year contract.
