The 2024 Men's Volleyball Nations League finals are scheduled to take place in Łódź, central Poland, from June 27 to 30, with the Polish national team defending its title.

The matches will be played by eight teams at the city's 13,000-seat Atlas Arena, Mayor Hanna Zdanowska announced during a press conference at Łódź City Hall on Monday.

The head of the Polish Volleyball Association (PZPS), Sebastian Świderski, told reporters that, for the Polish team, next year's Nations League finals will serve as the last stage of preparations for the Olympic Games in Paris, which begin on July 26, 2024.

The Polish team is a strong contender in international volleyball. It clinched the 2023 Nations League title with a 3-1 victory in the final against the USA in Gdańsk on July 23.

The Poles, under Serbian coach Nikola Grbiċ, secured victory in the Men's 2023 European Volleyball Championship by defeating Italy 3-0 in the final in Rome on September 16.

Poland won world championship titles in 2014 and 2018 and finished runners-up last year.
