Polish literary award for German poet

German poet Durs Grünbein received the Zbigniew Herbert International Literary Award at a ceremony in Warsaw on Monday.

The award is handed out for outstanding artistic, intellectual and literary achievement, and for promoting values which were important to Herbert, one of Poland’s most prominent poets.
