The opera presents two new ballets, choreographed to iconic contemporary music, asking questions about the modern world, its divisions and polarisations. Titled "Strange world" the first of the two ballets - is choreographed by Robert Glumbek to iconic Polish music from the mid-20th century performed by legendary singers; the second is "Coming Together" choreographed by Kevin O'Day - to music that is mostly unknown in Poland, even though written by an American composer of Polish extraction, Frederic Rzewski. Director of the Opera Jacek Jekiel and the choreographers invite.
Hosted by Elżbieta Krajewska.
