Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin, who is also the minister of development, labour and technology, made the announcement a day after meeting representatives of the ski sector.
Safety protocols for skiers were worked out during the talks, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
However, hotels, B&Bs and restaurants in Poland will remain closed for now, government spokesman Piotr Müller noted.
"It looks like ski lifts will be open, but the people using them will be those who live closer [to the slopes], because accommodation facilities will be closed," Müller said.
Tougher measures to battle COVID-19 came into effect across Poland earlier this month following a surge in cases amid a second wave of the pandemic.
Hotels are only able to take in guests on business trips.
Poland on Tuesday reported 10,139 new coronavirus infections and 540 more deaths, bringing its total number of cases to 909,066 and fatalities to 14,314 after data revisions.
