“We have received political signals at the highest level - good signals - including from the United States and our European friends. According to all reports, aid shipments have been restored,” President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on Friday evening on his profile on X (formerly Twitter).
The politician added that Ukraine was also preparing new European defence packages and expected decisive action soon to impose further sanctions on Russia over its invasion.
In his evening address, Zelensky emphasised that sustained pressure on Moscow must yield results.
The Ukrainian leader said Kyiv is currently working with partners on additional deliveries, expanding domestic weapons production, and improving supplies for the armed forces.
The President of Ukraine also confirmed that US envoy Keith Kellogg, who recently met with Paweł Kowal, the Polish Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Chairman of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine, is expected to visit Kyiv in the coming days.
