Brace for drought, climate minister tells Poles

Climate Minister Michał Kurtyka has warned that Poland should brace itself for a drought after a warm winter and a lack of rain.

Speaking as firefighters continue to battle a blaze that has ravaged the country’s largest national park, Kurtyka said: “Droughts and water shortages [are] the most visible symptoms of climate change in Poland.”
