Poland phased out nitrocellulose manufacturing more than ten years ago.

Morawiecki, speaking at an ammunition plant in central Poland on Thursday, stressed the importance of producing military components in Poland, state news agency PAP reported.

He added that "after investing PLN 400m in [ammunition plant] Mesko last year, we'll be investing PLN 300-400m more to restore our nitrocellulose production capacity".
