Błaszczak said in a tweet: “We have signed an agreement with the United States for the delivery of 300 used Cougar MRAP vehicles."

He added that the vehicles, together with logistics and training support, would be supplied to the Polish army in the first quarter of next year.

"They will boost the capacity of units deployed in the east of the county, among other locations," Błaszczak tweeted.

The planned purchase of 300 used Cougar MRAP (Mine-Resistant, Ambush Protected) 4X4 vehicles, together with a logistics and training package, was first signaled last month when Błaszczak said they would be deployed for use by the Polish Army’s 16th and 18th divisions, state news agency PAP reported.
