Slovak wins European Parliament post after Polish ex-PM rejected

Slovak politician Lucia Ďuriš Nicholsonová was on Thursday elected as head of the European Parliament’s employment committee after deputies twice rejected Polish ex-Prime Minister Beata Szydło for the post.
