The talks focused on "the current situation in Belarus, the condition of Belarusian society and Tsikhanouskaya's political plans for the near future," presidential aide Krzysztof Szczerski told reporters, as cited by the niezalezna.pl website.
Duda and Tsikhanouskaya also discussed the role of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in stabilizing the situation in Belarus as well as "how the international community can deal with the issue of persecution of Poles in Belarus and restoration of human rights there," Szczerski said.
He added that Tsikhanouskaya had sent greetings to the Polish people ahead of Polish Diaspora Day on May 2 and the country's Constitution Day on May 3.
Tsikhanouskaya last year picked up a special award at an international business conference in Poland.
Duda in September last year urged support for Belarus in a major address to the United Nations.
