The British press has been commenting on the possibility of Johnson becoming the next Secretary General of NATO. His choice would also be supported by Ukrainian MPs.
The Daily Mail said that Tory MPs were willing to start a "grassroots" campaign on behalf of Johnson, but only on condition that he drops his "Trumpish" desires to hold onto 10 Downing Street.
The Telegraph also discusses Johnson's candidacy, but stresses that it would be likely to run aground on a French veto.
