In the same period last year, Poland's foreign trade showed a deficit of PLN 12.3 billion, the statistical office said.
Poland’s exports from the beginning of this year to the end of August totaled PLN 657.6 billion, while imports were worth PLN 657.2 billion, according to the statistics agency.
Poland’s largest export markets are Germany, the Czech Republic and Britain, while Germany, China and Russia are the country’s largest import markets, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency has reported.
