EUR 12 bn trade surplus for Poland in 2020: stats office

Poland ended last year with a foreign trade surplus of EUR 12 billion, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported.

Poland’s exports totaled EUR 237.5 billion in 2020 as a whole, while imports were worth EUR 225.5 billion, the government-run statistics agency said.

Poland’s largest export markets were Germany, the Czech Republic and Britain, while Germany, China and Italy were the country’s largest import markets.

In 2019, Poland's foreign trade showed a surplus of EUR 1.2 billion, according to the statistical office.
