Opportunities in US for Polish space industry

The Polish Trade and Investment Agency (PAIH) is organizing a webinar on Wednesday about opportunities on the US market for Polish space industry products.

One of the speakers will be Artur B. Chmielewski, who works at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California as a space mission project manager - including on the Rosetta, Galileo, Ulysses and Cassini-Huygens missions. 

The space sector has been developing rapidly in Poland after the country became a member of the European Space Agency in November 2012. The Polish Space Agency (POLSA) was created in 2014, while in 2017 the Polish Space Strategy document was published by the Ministry of Development.

"The space industry is not so huge in Poland yet, but there are a lot of companies that should be on the American market because Poland has a lot of products, has incredible engineers, but they are afraid to enter the American market," Chmielewski told reporter Danuta Isler
