Mateusz Morawiecki was speaking during a video conference with German businessmen.

Poland's niezalezna.pl website reported that German entrepreneurs are increasingly eyeing Poland as an attractive investment destination.

Morawiecki said that German investment in Poland totalled nearly EUR 40 billion in 2019, adding that around 6,000 German companies have business operations in Poland.

"Over the past 30 years, the Polish economy has changed significantly, and its expansion was driven by German companies, among others, carrying out direct investment in Poland," he added.
