Helping Polish firms unleash their business power

For over two years now, the Łukasiewicz research network has been supporting businesses operating in Poland in tackling technological challenges.

The institution takes its name from Ignacy Łukasiewicz, a Polish pharmacist, entrepreneur, community activist and, above all, the inventor of the kerosene lamp.

Aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry, the network builds on the expertise of 8,000 staff and 32 research institutes located across Poland.

Agnieszka Łaszczuk spoke to Michał Janasik, Vice-President of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.
