Around 123,500 housing units were completed nationwide between the start of January and the end of July, the office said.
It added that the number of housing starts from January to July, at around 170,500, was 40.1 percent higher than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, overall output in Poland’s construction-and-assembly sector rose by 3.3 percent in July in year-on-year terms, while decreasing by 4.7 percent month on month, the state-run statistics agency also reported.
The Polish economy grew 10.9 percent in the second quarter of this year, after contracting 0.9 percent in the first quarter, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said this month in a flash estimate.
