Between March 15 and April 30, some 199,000 Ukrainians left Poland, but there were 53,000 new arrivals.
Monika Banyś from the Personnel Service company, which monitors the situation on the labour market in Poland, says Ukrainian workers are in huge demand in this country, especially in branches such as logistics, agriculture and food production as well as in services and trade.
A study by Personnel Service said that in the first quarter of this year, employees from Ukraine worked in 35 percent of large companies in Poland, in 12 percent of mid-sized firms, and in 10 percent of small businesses. In 2019, almost one in five companies in Poland employed Ukrainian workers.
