Doctors warn that an insufficient amount of sleep can deteriorate one’s health condition and dampen one’s productivity, the website pointed out.

Sleep deprivation might contribute to severe cardiological, neurological, and psychological implications, increasing the risk of a heart attack or a stroke. It may also lead to obesity or depression, ABC Zdrowie explained.

A good night’s sleep helps prevent issues related to concentration, memory, and emotions.

Taking a rest allows muscles, the respiratory system and the digestive system to regenerate, as well as stabilises hormone management, the website added.
